Sooo... I watched the anime Kiss Him, Not Me a couple days ago and I HAD TO know the ending and therefore I ended up reading the manga too... And I just wanna say I am so happy... This was so different seeing from our main character's perspective bcs she is just like me infatuated with 2d characters (not totally like me though, she's a lot more crazy, lol) but still... I just loved the dynamic between all the characters and the understanding between them...

It really made me emotional to see the end and watching them grow into adults suddenly after the whole manga being based on their high school life...

Also, yeah, another episode of me groveling on my single ass bcs THE MAIN COUPLE IS JUST THE CUTEST UGHHHHH!!!! Can't I have a Mutsumi senpai for myself???

Revice cast MINUS THE IGARASHIS react to Mama-san adopting a whole slew of people from Nozomu (Battle Familia), and the Sakurais. [I'm tempted to include Neon... but... I kinda ship Neon with any of the Sakurai siblings lol] (Kamen Rider Geats)

Hiromi and Hana are basically Igarashi anyway (being the SO of one of the kids does that), so neither of them are surprised. Hikaru and Go aren't surprised either, since the Igarashi fam took them in as one of their own because they didn't have anywhere to go.

None of them even realized they've been adopted until Mama-san bought them bath supplies before they've run out and they have photos on the walls like the sibs do, lol.

George is kinda jealous because while the Igarashi fam do consider him a close friend, the shady shit he pulled kinda made them hesitant to fully integrate him to the fam. Although he does grudgingly admit that the Sakurai sibs and Nozomu kinda deserve it more than he does :P

Kae Serinuma is a very kind second-year high school student and a devoted otaku. A little known fact about her, though, is that she's obsessed with BL, or Boy's Love. Serinuma can't help but to fantasize about her male classmates falling for each other and enjoys imagining them together. A more known fact about Serinuma, however, is that she’s noticeably overweight.

While watching her favorite show one day, Serinuma witnesses the death of her most beloved character. Utterly depressed, she can't muster up the energy to eat her meals, let alone attend school. After an entire week, she finally recovers. But now there's something unusual about her—during the time she refused to leave her room, she ended up losing a large amount of weight and has somehow become strikingly beautiful!

Now catching the eye of everyone who sees her, she finds herself at the center of attention of four boys she has always known at her school. Though they all wish to spend time with her, Serinuma would much rather they spend time falling in love with one another. How will Serinuma deal with the four boys pursuing her BL-obsessed self?

Don't remember the specifics, but I might have given 2 or 3 stars.

I just didn't like how the other characters forced the protagonist to lost weight after she reverted back to her original weight. I mean, I get that it could have been concern for her health, but if that's that, then why didn't they (or at least, her classmates) do that before? That specific part (from episode 5) just sticks out because I kind of dislike the underlying message. ALSO, I just rewatched the specific part, and I absolutely dislike their horrified reaction upon seeing her after she ate all those chocolates.

(Also, I rewatched the rest of the episode from the part I mentioned in the previous bullet. I somehow enjoyed it. Now, I'm thinking that the rating must have been 3 stars, indeed.)

I'm also now slightly interested in reading the manga, just out of curiosity.

Will I rewatch? Initially, I thought I would not, but I actually might!

Just done watching Battle Familia. This was Sakamoto’s movie all right. So many explosions and high kicks.
